Parkfield Community School in Birmingham has been forced to conclude a series of lessons based on social diversity due to Muslim parents at the school arguing that the lessons are at odds with their religious beliefs.
Some believe that schools should teach facts and parents should enforce values, however grey areas can appear when topics such as evolution or equality are brought into question, as is the case here.
